My journey into the field of psychology began with a simple but profound belief: that everyone deserves a space where they feel truly heard, understood and empowered. As a Counseling Psychologist, I have dedicated my career to bridging the gap between clinical expertise and the lived, human experience.
I am a proud graduate of Africa International University, and my path has been shaped by a diverse range of professional and service-oriented roles. My training included a formative attachment at a school, where I learned the critical importance of supporting mental health within an educational setting — sparking my passion for early intervention and building resilience in younger populations.
Following my studies, I gained valuable insight into community-based support through my work at an NGO, where I witnessed the power of accessible psychological care in addressing complex life challenges. My commitment to service continues in my ongoing role as a volunteer with the Kenya Red Cross, contributing to emergency response and community well-being.
These experiences, combined with my time as a Hospital Psychologist, have taught me that mental strength is not just about overcoming obstacles — it is about cultivating the resources needed to thrive in every aspect of life.
